About Kai…

2006 born Kai Taylor has made a splash as an up and comer in the dance and entertainment industry with his innovative style and boundary pushing performances, taking him worldwide from Australia to Asia, Europe and the USA.

Kai began dancing at the age of three and made his stage debut aged seven, performing alongside the world renowned Tap Dogs at a gala event for Cate Blanchett. Following this at 10, he was cast as a special appearance, tap dancing for the popular Australian vocal group “Swing on This'“ in their season at the Theatre Royal Sydney.

Since then throughout his teenage years he has amassed over 20 million views across social media receiving praise and catching the attention of luminaries such as Broadway star Kristen Chenoweth, director Kenny Ortega and Abbey Lee Miller. In 2024, Kai was crowned as a world champion in Tap Dance and Show Dance at the Dance World Cup in Prague, CZ.

Additionally, as a pianist, percussionist and vocalist Kai has performed and produced shows in both Australia and Asia. He is well known for his ability to simultaneously combine tap dancing with piano and timpani respectively and was invited to perform as a featured artist at the Sydney Opera House.

Recently in 2025, Kai was on contract at Universal Studios Japan.
